With Veritas4 for Coroners, all files are stored centrally and everyone sees one version of the truth. Greater visibility means improved collaboration, which ultimately means a more efficient workplace.
Veritas4 will take care of scheduled software updates outside of agreed office hours at no extra cost and ensuring no impact on Coroners daily routine.
The Veritas4 database and web applications are hosted within the Windows Azure platform. The database uses Azure SQL Database transparent data encryption which performs real-time encryption and decryption of the database, associated backups, and transaction log files. Encrypted HTTPS web traffic is mandatory and is actively enforced for all logged in users / pages. The Veritas4 Coroners application uses OAuth2 authorisation which is the industry-standard protocol for authorisation. Full auditing of database using Azure SQL Database Auditing. This tracks database events and writes audited events to an audit log, includes alert emails on anomalous database activities that may indicate potential security threats. Using Azure SQL Database firewall rules database login is restricted to the database administrator only, access to SQL database is limited to the administrators IP address. No other access is given!
